Overview

From Bishopstone we go up a dry valley to the Ridgeway and walk east with distant views of Ashdown House, above Ashbury to Wayland's Smithy where we will have a break to explore and have a drink. From there we return a short distance along the Ridgeway then follow the d’Arcy Dalton Way to Odstone Coombes where we drop down to follow the spring line villages of Kingston Winslow, Ashbury, and Idstone, back to Bishopstone. At the end there is an option of lunching in the Royal Oak at Bishopstone. Check with the leader whether we need to book. Vale Walk Leader JG 07968 710869
