Overview
We often head southwards from Northmoor, to the Thames. This time we’ll be doing the opposite, heading northwards to Sutton. This will take us along the Thames Path, though this stretch is hundreds of metres from the river. Sutton is our turning point, heading back via Pimm Farm and some of the lakes in the area. Park considerately along the road through Northmoor unless you will be going to the Red Lion for lunch, in which case you can use the pub car park. The Red Lion is a favourite of ours. In order to minimise waiting time when we arrive in the pub after the walk we’ll make our choices before we set off, giving the chef a head start. Vale Walk Leader DC 01367 820683 / 07544 979253
