Overview

An 8-mile walk from Dunure back to Ayr on the Ayrshire Coastal Path. Expect pebbly beach, rocky foreshore, field-walking, disused railway line and promenade, plus one short, sharp climb. If the weather is favourable, there should be spectacular views to Ailsa Craig, Arran and the north Ayrshire coast, plus there are two castles to visit, at Dunure and Greenan.
