A linear walk from Upwey to Weymouth, from time to time following streams and the River Wey, via fields and footpaths and Radipole RSPB Nature Reserve. To avoid taking a splash before reaching the sea, care will be needed on one stream bank in particular. There are one or two short uphill stretches, and there may be mud in places.

Most railway stations along the line do not have toilets, including Weymouth. If needed, its advisable to use the train toilets before alighting.
