Overview

From Whiteways car park, head through Houghton Forest climbing steadily on a good track passing Gumber Corner to Stane Street (2.5mi). Turn right to follow Stane Street to the car park on Bignor Hill. Continue past Bignor Hill on the left (views NE across Amberley Wild Brooks), then descend steeply for 0.5mi and follow an undulating path back to Whiteways.
