Overview

From Huggate village car park we will take an anti clockwise route. Down into Cow Dale and Rabbit Dale then uphill through Holm Dale towards Fridaythorpe. Heading west through Wold House Farm to join the Chalkland Way, then following Frendal Dale to Jessops Plantation. From here we will join the Yorkshire Wolds Way for the return to Huggate.

If a clear day, excellent views across the Wolds.

We will be using cross field and field edge paths, farm tracks and open access land. There are a few uphills but nothing strenuous. Generally ground conditions are good.

There may be cattle at a couple of locations.
