We are the Northallerton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the car park we head for Wolsingham Bridge passing toilets on route. We cross the River Wear and go up the road to pick up the Weardale Way footpath. The first section requires a steady climb through fields to Sunnyside Edge. We continue on the Weardale Way over moorland leaving it just before Harehope Quarry. We'll have lunch here in a little nature area. It's then back to Wolsingham following the river and the railway line
Only a couple of stiles. All the ascent is before lunch
Good paths and tracks. There could be cows in the fields
Post walk refreshments will be a 5 minute drive on the A689 to Bradley Burn Caravan Park cafe
