There will be plenty to see with varied wildlife, an orchard, ponds & we will be surrounded by birdsong & the sounds of the river as its as it meanders on its journey through Murieston valley to reach Calderwood where it meets the Linhouse Water before going on to join the River Almond. Walk Two -  Lead by Jane MacNaughton -  This will be a start forward walk from Muirieston Village Hall around the Linhouse Circular and back to the Muirieston Village Hall.  The Linhouse Circular is a shale path and can be muddy in places.  It is a pleasant circular walk around a quiet woodland.  Distance  3.1 miles (5km) with approximately 131 ft (40m) of ascent.  The walk is expected to take 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately
