Overview

This is a lovely circular  walk, featuring 5 Chichester Harbour villages, starting from the car park at Bosham (PO18 8HT) . Allow at least an hour from Winchester.  The charge is £4.90 for up to 6 hours and there are toilets available.

The exact walk will depend on the tide and is about 10 miles. It is very flat! It will include a ferry ride which is £3 per person across the river to West Itchenor.

The walk to Dell Quay is mostly along the river. The Crown and Anchor on the quay has suitable items on the Starters menu, plus a more substantial food menu. Please visit their website and let me know if you would like to eat at the pub and your menu choice, by Tuesday 12 noon. There are plenty of places for a picnic nearby.

The afternoon walk continues to Fishbourne and then takes us back to Bosham over fields.
