We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will leave Arlebury Park (car park) via Jacklyn's Lane to Tichborne Down, where we will be in open countryside. We'll then walk through Tichborne Park to Cheriton Mill and follow the young River Itchen to the pretty village of Cheriton. We'll return via the Allan King Way to Tichborne, Ovington, and meet the river again to Itchen Stoke. We'll finish along the River Arle to Arlebury Park.
This is a picnic walk, please bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Additional drinks if the weather is warm.
Poles are advisable if used.
Stagecoach's No.64 bus provides half-hourly service between Winchester Broadway and Alresford, also No. 67 which is less frequent.

Arlebury Park Recreation Ground, The Avenue, New Alresford, SO24 9EP. The car park here has parking charges Monday – Saturday 8am-5pm. Up to 2 hours FREE, then low charges. Alternative parking at Perins Car Park, Jacklyns Lane, New Alresford, SO24 9JJ No free parking, but low charges.
