This walk is a circular walk and starts off from the village green at Kilmeston. We start off in the direction of Hinton Ampner and pass by the National Trust property , before heading west to Brockwood Park and Warnford via Bere Farm. We head back walking the Monarch's Way to Beacon Beeches and from there to Wind Farm, where we walk the Wayfarer's Way back to out starting point.
I advise bringing a walking pole because of the ascent and decent on sections of the walk , together with stretches of undulating paths , road and tracks. The walk offers some lovely views across the Hampshire countryside and we pass some fine country houses and farmsteads .
Please be aware that the poor weather we have had has left parts of the walk muddy and the ground heavy and saturated. This makes walking more challenging, so you are strongly advised to wear suitable footwear, protective clothing and bring a walking pole to aid traversing boggy ground.
This is a picnic walk with a morning coffee break .
