Leaving the village of Peter Tavy we make the long steady climb up to Cudliptown Down where on a fine day we are treated to spectacular views over the moor and far down in to Cornwall. Having caught our breath we will then descend via Wapsworthy to Hill Bridge where we will stop for our coffee break. Our route then follows the narrow path alongside a leat and on down to Horndon Bridge, returning to Peter Tavy by lane and footpaths.
A walking pole may be helpful on a steep and rough track and a steep ascent which may be slippery in wet weather.
Bring refreshments for coffee break.
Dogs welcome on a lead, There are stiles along the leat path.
Possible refreshments at the Peter Tavy Inn after the walk.
Please book by text with the walk leader
