Overview

A Dartmoor walk with lovely scenic moorland views and much historic interest.

From Four Winds car park, the walk will include stone rows, Hillside, Daveytown, Withill, Ingra Tor and the old railway line around Kings Tor.

Terrain- moorland paths and tracks (some stony), old railway track bed and a minor road. One longish ascent and one stream to cross. Note - if after inspection nearer the time, the stream looks problematical, the route will be adjusted after Ingra Tor to go via Foggintor Quarries and the Pump House back to Four Winds.

Dogs welcome. Bring drinks for mid-morning coffee stop.
Optional lunch or drinks at the Fox Tor Cafe in Princetown afterwards.

To join the walk, please book by text to walk leader.
