Overview

We follow the stunning SWCP from Rusey Cliff to Penally Point with a few of steep climbs arriving at the beautiful harbour of Boscastle. Next we make our way through Valency Valley which is a steady climb towards the pretty church of St Juliot's famous for its connection with Thomas Hardy. We then follow farmland and quiet lanes back to our cars.

Car sharing would be a good idea from Tavistock although the walk leader will meet you at the start point.

Don't forget plenty of fluids - we can stop for ice creams in Boscastle.
