Overview

We start at Venford Reservoir and walk along a path above the River Dart doing a loop around Bench Tor before heading across open moorland towards Holne Ridge. We return via Horn’s Cross, and the pipe track above the Dart.
Varied walk which, in good weather, will encompass expansive views across the stunning Dart Valley, the moor and the reservoir.

Mostly paths and tracks and some uphills and downhills. Mud in places after rain and a couple of paths are stony in places.

Bring drink for coffee stop and packed lunch for later stop. Dogs on lead.

Please book by text to walk leader (please don’t email as I probably won’t see it).
