It is a hilly walk on part of the Clarendon way. The climb is rewarded by stunning views of the Test valley and beyond. Do bring something to sit on if you want to enjoy a seat with a view at our break.
Inevitably you need to be prepared for mud and water. Most of the walk is fine but the stretch at the end was very wet recently.
The pub will be open at 10.00 for use of the toilets prior to setting off.
The pub want our lunch orders on Monday 25th March so I need your choices by that morning-10.00 a.m. at the latest! They are famous for the cheese souffle dish as a starter or main.
