Overview

From Carlton village hall to West Scrafton, then to Gammersgill, returning along the side of the Cover. All on good paths and tracks, a little road walking. A few ups and downs resulting in a total ascent of 820ft, and there are a few stiles. If it is wet the paths along  the banks of the river could be very slippery, so walking poles are recommended.
