Overview

 

A Chilterns walk of 8.9 miles which goes out along one side of the Misbourne valley and back along the other.

We will take the 9.27 from Marylebone arriving at Amersham at 10.02. 

Use freedom pass, over 60 Oyster card or  buy a CDR to Amersham.

Picnic lunch in Chalfont St Giles on the village green. I intend to book a table for 6 at the Merlin's Cave pub. If you want a place please let me know using the email contact form.

At the end of the walk we can have tea in Amersham before tackling the uphill walk to the station.

There are hourly trains to Marylebone or we can take the Metropolitan Line approx  20 mins.
