Ancient Oaks and views from the Deri.

We walk on lanes to the path contouring around the base of the Deri, following this until we ascend a sunken track to gain views overlooking Abergavenny and the Usk Valley. There are more views (weather permitting) of the Black Mountains as we walk to Parc Lodge wood. After lunch we walk down the Rholben to another ancient Oak woodland with even more eerie trees and then follow lanes back to the start.
