Overview

We will walk over footpaths to meet the West Devon Way, and then up the lane to West Down before descending steeply to the banks of the river Tavy. What goes down has to go up! After a short walk down the banks of the beautiful river Tavy, and a coffee break at Double Waters, we make our way back up to West Down and hopefully some splendid views over the Walkham valley and, returning to our cars, views of the Dartmoor Tors in the Distance.

Two stiles and stock in fields. Muddy in places.
