Starting at the lower car park with a ‘bit of a puzzle’, we then walk through Woodhouse, and on to a reasonable climb to a coffee stop at the top of The Broombriggs Farm Trail. There are lovely views over Charnwood and Woodhouse from here, which should be enhanced by Autumn colours. Take the climb at your own pace- no rush. We then walk on, again with great views, and have lunch at Beacon Hill Top car park where there are benches and toilets. A gentle walk down takes us back to the lower car park, where there is a café, if you are interested! The walk is 6 miles plus a little.
If you would like to join this walk please contact the Leader using the email link.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Toilets at the start, finish and lunch stop. Café at the end of the walk.
No dogs please as one field may have cattle( very docile)
