This is the twelfth in a series of walks which will cover the 75 mile National Forest Way. This stage takes us through the heart of Needwood Forest, former hunting grounds from 13th century. From Yoxall we will head north east using part of The Cross Britain Way to join The National Forest Way near to St George's Park National Football Centre. We then follow The National Forest Way through Brakenhurst Wood, Woodmill and Yoxall before returning along the River Swarbourn to the car park.
Woodland tracks, farm paths and some road walking. May be muddy in places after wet weather.
