We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We walk through the pretty village of Bradenstoke to the Abbey Farm and then down to City Bridge on the former Wilts and Berks canal. We then follow field paths, and the towpath of the old canal to Foxham. From Foxham we walk alongside the country lane on a wide grassy verge, then down a track to the café for mid walk refreshments. After this we have a short, but steep, ascent, on the road, before branching off to follow footpaths, through pretty woodland, to the path around the Lyneham airfield and the return to Bradenstoke.
Expect stiles and some mud. Poles may be helpful. There may be livestock en route.
Bring refreshments for one stop. We will be back for lunch.
