Broughton Gifford and a Sunday Saunter

A last minute offering for any members wanting a short walk, closer to home, this Sunday morning.  From Broughton Gifford’s Village Green, the walk will head along footpaths and lanes to Great Chalfield Manor and back across country via St Mary’s Church and Broughton Gifford Manor with its connections to Martin Bax!  A gentle stroll with no hills, two manors, a couple of churches and a pleasant pastoral landscape.  This is a familiar walk to one I led not that long ago but it will be shorter and in reverse so it will hopefully appear different, unless you have a good memory! Meet outside of the Bell on the Common.  Bring snack.
