This is a low level walk from the car park in Caldbeck, taking in beautiful views of the hills and the local countryside. We’ll walk a stretch of the Cumbria Way as well as walking through farmland and country lanes. We’ll complete our circuit by dropping into the Oddfellow Arms in Caldbeck.
We’ll be walking over a variety of terrains and there are a couple of stiles to cross. If anyone was thinking of bringing a dog, there are sheep on some of the fields so a lead is essential.
For anyone driving to Caldbeck via Jctn 42 please be aware that there may be road closures and diversions heading to Dalston so allow extra time.
