We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Bramfield. We set off through Bramfieldpark Wood, pass Queen Hoo House, into Bramfield Woods and past a line of old hornbeam pollards. Brief stop in the church yard on the edge of Watton. Then we return across open fields, back into Bramfield Woods and past Sally Rainbow's Dell. Should be at the peak of Autumn colour.
Please bring your own refreshments. Much of the walk is on firm tracks but there are muddy stretches in the woods.
There are optional refreshments available at the end of the walk, but not during the walk.
Meet at the car park in Bury Lane, Bramfield, Herts There is additional parking on the main road through Bramfield (Winding Shott) about 200 yards to the east, either side of the junction with Bury Road.
