We are the Pocklington Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk will be led by Jack Hutchinson.
This will be a fine scenic walk in the Howardian Hills National Landscape area being about 11 miles long with about 900 ft of ascent.There will be a few ups and downs but mainly easy walking to the west and north of Terrington sometimes using paths and tracks not often frequented.
We initially descend into the lower lands to the south of the hills before ascending again to the small church at Dalby followed after another couple of miles by Skackleton church which will be a convenient lunch spot.
We then head north and east returning to the start by Fryton Moor, Baxtenhowe and Huskett Hill.
No dogs except assistance dogs with the consent of the leader.
