A walk of 9 miles, much on the Wolds Way, through varied undulating terrain and some quiet roads.The walk starts from the car park next to the primary school, leaving Warter via Mill Lane, to Nunburnholme. An easy climb up through Bratt wood leads to expansive views (on a clear day) of the Vale of York.The route continues on the Wolds Way past Wold farm, Low Warrendale farm, skirts Jenny Firkin wood and on into Millington pastures. We return to Warter along the old Roman road
