Overview

This delightful walk takes us into the Geltsdale RSPB Nature Reserve.

The walk covers the rolling fells of Geltsdale from Whinny Fell, then down Howgill and Cat Crag to the RSPB Visitor Centre, at Stagsike. We then circumnavigate most of Tindale Tarn with commanding views to the north and back to Clesketts.

The terrain is on well defined paths, which maybe boggy, and quiet country lanes.
