Overview

The walk will be 8.5 miles, parking at The Cover Bridge Inn car park and commencing, at 10.00am The walk will follow the river to Hulla Bridge up an incline to Pinkers pond where we will pause for a stop. We will then continue on to Coverham Abbey and church eventually walking away from the abbey and taking a sandwich break after a short climb out of the valley and on to Braithwaite Hall. We then return to the inn followng the river. The pub can provide tea and scones if ordered in advance.

Please let me know if you are staying for tea after the walk. The path by the river is narrow to start with  and poles are advised if you have them. You can expect a few stiles and short stretches of road walking but mainly fields and river side walking.
