Leader: Mark M, joining train at Heaton Chapel

Transport to Walk Start: 10:51 train from Manchester Piccadilly station (final destination Buxton).

Meet Point:  Near the ticket barriers or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train or at Disley Station. 

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Day Return to Disley £7.90

Walk Start: Disley Railway Station at 11:30

Waypoints:  Green Lane, Bolder Hall, Cock Knoll, Sponds Hill, Dale Top, Knights Low, Lyme Hall, Cage Hill, Bollinhurst Brook.

Return Services: x:14/15 until 19:14. x:42/43 from 16:42 until 22:42. Last train at 23:26.

Extra: No toilets at walk start. No toilets en route until close to the end of the walk. We'll have earned a warming drink at the end, so there will be optional drinks in a Disley pub.

 A lovely day out taking in the high ground around Lyme Park, lots of views of the Peak District and Manchester and passing Lyme Hall.  Ascents are fairly gentle.

No dogs please, other than registered assistance dogs.
