This circular walk will leave Greenfield via Lower Arthurs, climbing straight away - steeply at times, up to Rocher Brow. Making our way along grassy paths we approach Alderman’s Hill and then loop round to visit the obelisk and the Pots and Pans stone. From there, we wind our way downhill on good paths overlooking Dovestones reservoir and possibly crossing over by the weirs to Ashway Gap if the weather allows. There will be some slippy surfaces if the weather is wet.  This walk will take in some wonderful views if the weather is kind.  Some changes may be made to the route once the recce takes place.

Boots are advised as trainers do not give you grip on muddy paths. À pole may also be useful.
