Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Grindleford Station.
Transport to Walk Start: 09:48 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Grindelford (End point Sheffield). This will be a busy train, so get on as soon as it is at the platform to secure seats.
Suggested Ticket: Off-Peak Day Return to Grindleford.

Starting at Grindleford station, we head down the Derwent Valley to Grindleford, and then up onto Eyam Moor to Sir William Hill (not the bookies). From there we head down to Eyam, the plague village, on down to Stoney Middleton, famous for lovers leap, and then back along the Derwent Valley to Grindleford station. Those who would like to rehydrate can call in at The Maynard.
