There is a limit of 20 people for this walk and booking is essential. Please use the email contact link to book your place.
The walk includes some hills, including a short, steep climb just before lunch. We pass by toilets in Petersfield, then walk along the Hangers Way and Staunton Way. We go through pretty villages, woods and downland, with some lovely views. Lunch is at the picturesque Red Lion in Chalton, after 6.5 miles. If you want a pub lunch, please email Annette by Tuesday XX August. There are nearby benches for those with picnics.
Refreshments are available in Rowlands Castle, if we have a wait for the train back to London, at 58 minutes past the hour.
Buy a return ticket to Rowlands Castle.
There are no lunchtime drop-out options. Some sections are on roads without pavements, where care is necessary. There are rough path surfaces, so walking boots are essential and poles might be useful. Check for ticks after the walk.
