Overview

A lovely walk including a bit of everything - river side paths, lanes, moorland tracks, field paths and parkland. We start by following the Six Dales Trail along the River Ure to Cover Bridge. At this point we leave the river and head to East Witton, before continuing upwards to Witton Moor. Along to the pretty village of Ellingstring where we pick up the Six Dales Trail again back to Jervaulx.

NB There is a steep climb out of East Witton onto the moor which will be taken at a slow pace.
