Overview

Join us on this ramble to Robin Hood's Stride and back. This is a perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful landscape between Elton and Youlgreave. Elton lies on the dividing point between gritsone and limestone formation and you can see buildings using both kinds of stone  in the village. On our walk we hike part of the Limestone Way, which runs from Castelton to Rocester. Learn about the reason Robin Hood's Stride got its name, the Portway and the mystery of the Hermit's Cave.
