We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.

Our walk starts from the Lunch Box Tea Hut car park, Tattenham Corner, at 11.30 after a short takeaway coffee stop.
We will cross the racecourse, pass the Gallops and Walton Downs, with a fairly long climb out of the valley, before stopping at the Fox and Hounds in Walton on the Hill for lunch (or a nearby picnic option). We return to Tattenham Corner for the bus back to Sutton (or the car park for anyone not using public transport).
There is a quarter of an hour walk between the Great Tattenhams bus stop and the car park start and finish point.
Please text by 18:00 Monday 16th if you want a pub lunch.
Although the mud was quite manageable on our recce, with rain forecast throughout the next week it is likely to be worse, but hopefully still manageable - but bring sticks if normally used.
The Fox and Hounds is now called The Dog House! The lunch menu is fairly limited, but includes fish, scampi, ham & egg all with chips, plus chilli con carne. Lighter meals, eg. jackets and sandwiches are also available.
For those returning to Sutton on the 420, there is likely to be a 40 minute wait for the bus. However, there is a cafe nearby where we will be made welcome!
