We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.

We start walking from Hampstead Underground Station through streets and alleys, before emerging out onto the Heath, (undulating terrain). We stop for cafe and toilets at Kenwood House after 2.6 km (1.6 mls), then later, after leaving the Heath there is some street walking that takes us up to Highgate village. After that there is a long, and mainly gradual, descent taking us through Highgate Woods and along a former railway footpath to reach Muswell Hill, 7.2 km (4.5 mls) where we have lunch (pub/picnic). After lunch we pass Alexandra Palace, followed by a steeper descent which then takes us to Wood Green Underground Station. Places limited to 20. Please book a place on the walk by 18:00 hrs on 19 February (no need to book for a pub lunch), (text only please, no phone calls). Overall ascent 117 metres, and descent 205 metres, medium pace, no stiles, slight potential for mud in places.
