Numbers on this walk are limited so please book your place via the email link below if you wish to attend.
The walk is in north west Kent traversing fields, woods and valleys in London's Green Belt. It has some nice views and interesting landmarks to enjoy.
There are a few ups and downs, some of which are steep, 6 stiles and a fallen tree to duck under. Two of the stiles are rather high.
Transport: Catch the 9:18 from London Bridge arriving at Hayes (Kent) at 9:51. The train starts from Charing Cross so could also be boarded there. All stations are within Zone 6 thus Freedom Passes are valid. Otherwise you will need to buy a Day Return to Knockholt.
Toilets: There are no toilets on the train or at Hayes or Knockholt stations.
Lunch: is at Cudham where there at benches for picnickers and the Blacksmith's Arms for people wanting a pub lunch. If you want a pub lunch, please contact me to book before Sunday 18 January.
