Hebden Bridge is a beautiful, hilly area and this walk- whilst relatively short at eight and a half miles- involves two steep climbs and descents and is therefore moderately challenging, especially when you consider the total ascent involved and the fact the highest point on the walk is 334 metres.
That said, if we get a fine day, we are rewarded with some great views. A walking pole is advised as some surfaces could be muddy and wet, and fallen leaves could be a slip hazard. A torch may also be very useful as the sunset on this day is around 15.47.
At the leader's discretion, the route may be altered due to weather and/or ground conditions.
