This is a winter linear walk from Hope to Edale, taking in the sights of Peveril Castle and Winnats Pass.

This is a moderate undulating winter walk, involving a few long slow climbs. When walking through Cave Dale and Winnats Pass, we will see various caves and fancy rocks near and far. Footpaths are mostly well maintained or in grassy fields. However, a few stages are rocky, and the downhill section from Hollins Cross on a wet day may be muddy and slippery. Walking boots are required. If weather conditions are permitting, we may have a longer picnic lunch in Castleton.
