A short morning circular walk from Keighley Morrisons up to Hainworth to take in the surrounding views. We'll start by Morrisons car park, opposite Universal Group Ltd, on the main road. From there we'll head out of the town up to Hainworth. There will be a steep ascent on the way up, but worth it for the views, and hopefully we'll see a few alpacas, wallabies and peacocks plus others at a nearby farm. We will definitely see the life-size model giraffe! After we've reached the top we'll then head back via Hainworth Wood and Springbank, finishing by walking along the River Worth. It could be muddy underfoot, especially through the fields, so walking boots are recommended. After the walk we'll look to go for a drink at one of the nearby pubs. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome on the walk.
There are toilets at Morrisons near the start.
Car parking is available locally, including ECP Morrisons Keighley car park, for which you can pay for parking on the RingGo app for £2.20 per day.
There are regular trains direct to Keighley from Leeds or Skipton direction. It's roughly a 15-minute walk from Keighley Train Station to the starting point.
