We are the Take a Hike Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Urban with green space.
From Leeds Dock we head along the canal to Skelton Lake. There is a short uphill section to Temple Newsam. We head through the golf course and along the edge of Halton Moor wood.
The remainder of the route is city centre based. The section from Halton Moor to Richmond Hill and Mabgate is a gradual ascent. The return to Leeds Dock is via pavements and a crossing of the Knight's Way Bridge.
