Terrific Todmorden- The other side

Join us on a ten mile circular walk to and from Todmorden Train Station. We will meet just outside the Train Station near the Car Park. 

A beautiful valley with steep sides provides a stunning landscape to recharge the batteries and make you feel alive !

The walk includes a steep accent at first and then we will continue to walk over flat sections and rolling hills.

The walk is mainly on tracks in wide open country but is varied and includes locks and canal ways, reservoirs, streams, rolling hills, mini waterfalls, exposed moorland and woodland areas. There is a very short road section.

This walk is the other side of the valley to Stoodley Pike, the landmark/monument near Todmorden. It is a 'less walked' area with magnificent views across the valley.

Please pack a lunch, water and appropriate clothing for the weather including sun protection as needed- see FAQ's as to kit if you are unsure. 

• Not suitable for dogs due to grazing cattle. 
• If any one vapes on the walk, the leaders would really appreciate it; if this is done with consideration of the group as a whole, perhaps stepping to one side as appropriate.
