We are the West Mendip Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
West Mendip Walkers 11 mile moderate walk on the Quantocks forest and moorland. Starting from Crowcombe car park we ascend to Hurley Beacon and then follow the path to Wilmot's Pool and then into Frog Combe and Lady Combe. From here we continue to the hamlets of Friarn and Adscombe before turning west along Keepers Combe to Triscombe Stone, back to the start via Little Quantock Farm. Refreshments are available en route at the Street Bean Coffee Adscombe and at the end at the Carew Arms pub, Crowcombe.
Dogs are welcome but please note that much of the Quantock Hills is designated Open Access Land and under the CRoW Act 2000 it is a requirement to keep dogs on a short lead between 1st March and 31st July.
