Overview

We leave the green to cross Richmond Bridge. We take the riverside path, up through Billy Bank Wood and down the steps to the river and to Round Howe. Here we cross the river where there are toilets. We cross over Reeth Road to pass Lownethwaite Farm the through Whitcliffe Wood and back down to the Swale where we'll stop for coffee on the river bank.

We follow the river then up to the C2C path where we head west to the road. We now have a bit of road walking leaving it at Deepdale where we'll stop for lunch. The path takes us past the famous Willance's Leap and back to Richmond
