Overview

The Rodden Brook drains off the chalk hills including Cley Hill, runs down to Corsley Mill, to the church at the little village of Rodden where the Redford Water joins it and togethr they join the River Frome at Frome.  The Rodden Valley is a lovely agricultural valley between Corsley and Chapmanslade  and we will walk the full length of it, returning via the adjacent Redford Valley.
Starting at Corsley Church, we walk to Chapmanslade where we will go to the delightful Beehive cafe for coffee.  Downhill steeply to Heath house and then along to the lovely Rodden Church.  We return via Dertford, Longhedge and the beautiful beechwoods of Whitbourne Springs.
Saving the best 'til last, we climb over Cley Hill (or go around for those who prefer) before joining the source of the Rodden Brook at Cley Hill Farm and a return to the cars. Bring lunch.
