Overview

From Castle Combe, we will walk past the motor racing circuit (hopefully, all will be peaceful!) and on to Yatton Keynell, passing the church and Manor House and through West Yatton Down Nature Reserve to Long Dean.  Then on to West Yatton and Giddeahall to stop in the pretty village of Biddestone for lunch.  The return route will take us to Slaughterford and Ford and back to Castle Combe via Danks Down Woods.  Then with photo opportunities and tourist avoidance tactics employed, we will make our way through the famous Cotswold village to return to the car park.  There may be cafe facilities open in the village for those that wish.

Well behaved dogs on leads at the discretion of the leader.

Car parking fee on a Sunday is 80p all day.  Cash (no change given) or MiPermit.
