Overview

A walk over tracks, grassland and the Pennine Way. We leave Sourhope on grass and field tracks heading steadily uphill towards Blackdean Curr, continuing round the Curr to join the Pennine Way. We then head up and over The Schil, then descend Auchope Rig on grassy paths to meet the farm track. We then turn and head briefly up and over Park Law with its large Hillfort, finally descending to return to our start point. There is one stile to cross.

As with all hill walks there may be livestock.

Bring food and drink for two stops and full hillwalking gear please.
