Overview

SHAWFORD, COMPTON AND TWYFORD

A Bank Holiday weekend walk, incorporating Shawford, which hopefully will have featured in the Daily Echo by then. Meet at the car park at the top of Shawford Down off the Otterbourne Road. There is only limited space so try and car share. If it is full there are more spaces lower down along the northern edge of Shawford Down. The walk is formed of three circular routes linked together. It will include Compton Church, Compton Lock, Twyford Church, and Twyford Waterworks.

To assist in the completion of the attendance register please send an email on the link provided to confirm you are coming before 20.00 on 23 August 2025. If everybody who has registered is in attendance the walk may start earlier.
